Day 1

Dhunche to Sing Gompa

Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (6–7 hrs), then trek uphill through oak and rhododendron forest to Sing Gompa (Chandanbari). Visit the monastery and yak cheese factory.

Day 2

Sing Gompa to Laurebina

5 hrs / 9 km / sleep 3,910 m

Trek through forests to Cholangpati (3,650m) with spectacular mountain views. Continue ascending to Laurebina, an important acclimatization stop.

Day 3

Laurebina to Gosaikunda

4 hrs / 7 km / sleep 4,380 m

Steep and rewarding ascent through rocky alpine terrain. Pass Saraswati Kunda and Bhairav Kunda before reaching the stunning turquoise Gosaikunda Lake at 4,380m.

Day 4

Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa

5 hrs / 16 km / sleep 3,330 m

Explore the lake in the morning, then descend retracing the route through Laurebina and Cholangpati back to Sing Gompa.

Day 5

Sing Gompa to Dhunche

3 hrs / 9 km / sleep 1,960 m

Descend through forest trails back to Dhunche. Drive back to Kathmandu (6–7 hours).
